I recently had an electric hot water heater and a mini split system installed. The service was excellent and I couldn’t be happier with the work done. Dane and Raymond were both polite, courteous and very efficient. They both worked non stop and cleaned up as they went. I will be calling again the next time I need work done.

Totally outrageous estimate! I got the job done for$14,000 cheaper. Was charged $250.00 for a furnace cleaning that wasn't done because I needed a new furnace. Contacted them about a refund they never responded. Would not recommend.

Your furnace was manufactured by Lenox in 1989 — it was 36 years old, and paired to a 2009 Trane AC. Unit. The Furnace was failing to light, and Lennox confirmed to us that the unit is obsolete with no parts available. On top of that, it had a failed heat exchanger, which is a carbon monoxide hazard. That is why we could not clean it or put it back into service. The $250 covered the diagnosis that identified those problems. We did that work, so we charged for it. Our quote for $21,000 was for a full system replacement with an high effecency furnace and heat pump. The $15,000 quote was for a 24k BTU duct less system that would have met the CT Energy rebate quallifications. Both of these quotes were for high energy efficiency heat pumps not just a furnace. If you got the job done for $14,000 less, you bought a furnace by itself. And kept the 17 year old AC system. WE would NEVER do that as an option and that is not what we quoted. This is not a fair comparison. You cannot replace a furnace and a full air conditioning system for $7,000.
On the refund: we have no record of you contacting us, and I would have responded if you had. But I'll ask you plainly — should we refund the cost of diagnosing a 36-year-old furnace that was unsafe and beyond repair? That diagnosis is the work. It is not free.

Update: Eric visited us again in 2026 to perform maintenance on our water heater. The visit was professional and efficient. Eric always responds promptly to messages.

Eric responded quickly after we called. He looked at our boiler/system and gave us a quote for the replacement. He and his workers showed up ON TIME and kept me abreast of how things were going. It took approx. 1.5 days for total change-out. Every worker was very friendly and introduced themselves. Left the area very clean upon completion.

Excellent communication! Holly called the morning of the appt to say that Ray and Dane were on the way, but there was an emergency situation with another customer who had no heat. Completely understandable. Besides being two of the nicest guys you could hope to meet, Ray and Dane did an excellent job! I also appreciated the follow up call after the job explaining what they found and the repair they did. I won’t hesitate to call Sabo again!
